Quinta do Vale Meão

Founded by Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira at the end of the 19th century, Quinta do Vale Meão remains in the hands of the Olazabal family, who honor the legacy of “Ferreirinha”. Located in the Upper Douro, in a unique meander of the Douro River, it benefits from schist, granite and alluvial soils. Its vineyards primarily produce characterful red wines, based on Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz grapes.
