Periquita - Red Wine

Periquita - Red Wine, by José Maria da Fonseca, is one of the most recognized names in the Setúbal Peninsula and a classic among Portuguese red wines. In winemaking, fermentation takes place over approximately 6 days at 28°C, with full contact with the skins, in order to enhance the extraction of color, aromas, and structure. The result is a wine with a vibrant red color and an expressive aromatic profile, highlighting notes of raspberry, blueberry, eucalyptus, black pepper, coffee, and vanilla.
