Description | Marqués de Griñón Petit Verdot - Red Wine
Marqués de Griñón Petit Verdot - Red Wine is a single-varietal Petit Verdot from Dominio de Valdepusa. Considered a benchmark for this Bordeaux-origin grape variety, it stands out in Spain as one of the most pioneering examples of pure Petit Verdot, revealing a distinct profile and a strong varietal identity. It ages for 12 to 15 months in new French Allier oak barrels, a detail that contributes to its complexity and depth.
It presents a deep ruby-red color. The aroma is intense and expressive, with notes of red forest fruits enveloped by spicy hints of tobacco, cinnamon, and chocolate. On the palate, it is full-bodied and velvety, with a marked structure and a powerful profile, yet balanced by elegance and freshness. Its aging potential makes it a particularly interesting choice for lovers of red wines with presence and evolution in the bottle.
It is recommended to serve at 16ºC. It is ideal to accompany red meats, lamb and strong cheeses, harmonizing especially well with dishes with pronounced flavor.
