La Val Treixadura - White Wine

La Val Treixadura - White Wine is a single-varietal white wine made from Trajadura grapes in the Rías Baixas region, produced by Bodega La Val from the Porto estate in Condado de Salvaterra, next to the Minho River. It is a young white wine, made with hand-harvested grapes, gentle pressing and spontaneous fermentation, followed by three months of aging on fine lees, which contributes to its aromatic expression and balance on the palate.

In color, it presents a lemony yellow with greenish reflections, clear and very bright. The aroma reveals a delicate and elegant profile, with flowers and white fruit on a background of Atlantic herbs, showing itself to be frank and with good intensity. On the palate, it is fresh and fruity, with good balance and extract, medium structure and a lively freshness, finishing with persistent balsamic notes in a long and refreshing finish.

This is a particularly versatile wine at the table, ideal for pairing with shellfish and fish, but also very interesting with fresh cheeses, foie gras, poultry, rice dishes, and pasta. For best appreciation, it is recommended to serve it at 12ºC. A gastronomic and expressive white wine that elegantly reflects the Atlantic character of Treixadura in Rías Baixas.
