La Fillaboa 1898 - White Wine

La Fillaboa 1898 - White Wine is an exclusive white wine from Fillaboa, produced in the Rías Baixas region from the Albariño grape variety. This wine originates from selected grapes from eight plots in Condado de Tea, on the border with Portugal, and stands out for its prolonged aging of 8 years on fine lees in stainless steel tanks. This process gives the wine remarkable depth, volume and roundness on the palate, while preserving the characteristic freshness of the grape variety and enhancing its complexity and elegance.

In the glass, it presents a straw-yellow color with golden hues, clear and bright. The aroma reveals toasted notes enveloped by fruity hints of very ripe fruit and vanilla and pastry nuances. On the palate, it is smooth on the attack, with very well-integrated acidity, good structure and a long persistence, composing a harmonious and sophisticated profile. It should be served at 10ºC and pairs particularly well with fish, poultry and Japanese and Asian cuisine. The name pays homage to the historic 19th-century expeditions, when a wine known as "Vino del Condado de Fillaboa" was shipped from the estate to Cuba.
