Description | Krug Clos d'Ambronnay - Sparkling Wine
Krug Clos d'Ambronnay - Sparkling Wine is a unique and extremely exclusive Champagne from Maison KRUG, made from Pinot Noir grapes from the 2002 vintage, originating from a single plot with exceptional characteristics. This is the sixth Champagne from this house clos, recognized for its individuality, purity, complexity, and remarkable finesse.
In the glass, it presents a bright and luminous golden color, reminiscent of ripe wheat. The nose reveals expressive aromas of gingerbread, candied orange peel, and delicate hazelnut notes. On the palate, it shows an elegant structure, great fullness and intensity, lingering in a very long finish, enhanced by a subtle touch of citrus fruits.
This sparkling wine from the Champagne region stands out for its depth and sophistication, often cited as KRUG's most exclusive champagne. It is recommended to serve it between 9 and 12ºC. At the table, it pairs particularly well with flavorful meat dishes, grilled vegetables, or roasted chestnuts.
