Fazedouro - Red Wine

Fazedouro - Red Wine, from Quinta da Lagoalva, is a wine from the Porto and Douro region made from Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca grapes. Produced with carefully hand-picked grapes transported to the winery, it follows a rigorous winemaking process, with 3 days of pre-fermentation maceration, alcoholic fermentation at 25ºC and malolactic fermentation in new or one-year-old French oak barrels.

The 10-month aging process gives it an intense garnet red color and an elegant aromatic profile, marked by notes of chocolate and blackberry. On the palate, it reveals depth, concentration, and persistent flavors, supported by elegant tannins that contribute to a balanced and expressive whole. It is an excellent choice to accompany oven-baked dishes, game, and aged cheeses.
