Encontro 1 - White Wine

Encontro 1 - White Wine is a wine from Quinta do Encontro, in the Bairrada region, made exclusively from the Arinto grape variety. Its vinification includes total destemming, skin maceration for 48 hours, gentle pneumatic pressing, natural static clarification and alcoholic fermentation at 15ºC. Part of the batch, about 50%, ferments in French oak barrels, followed by 6 months of batonnage, contributing to greater complexity and texture.

It has an intense citrine color with slight greenish reflections. On the nose, it reveals a complex profile, marked by its fruity character and freshness. On the palate, it stands out for its volume, elegance, and harmony, combining structure with a lively and balanced expression.

It's a versatile choice at the table, pairing well with charcuterie, structured fish, white or grilled meats, grilled red meats, and soft cheeses. A white wine from Bairrada with its own identity, combining freshness, depth, and partial aging in wood that adds sophistication to the whole.
