Description | Enate Cabernet Sauvignon - Red Wine
Enate Cabernet Sauvignon - Red Wine is a red wine from the Somontano region, made exclusively from the Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety, from a selection of the best Cabernet Sauvignons from the Enate vineyards. This interpretation combines a serious and elegant profile with a more Mediterranean facet, resulting in a wine of great expression and balance.
In the glass, it presents a clear and bright deep red color. The aroma is expressive and intense, with notes of black fruit enveloped by a liqueur-like freshness, joined by balsamic, spicy, toasted and cocoa notes from aging. On the palate it reveals itself as dense and full-bodied, with ripe and unctuous tannins, finishing long, enveloping and very persistent.
It ferments in stainless steel tanks, with three weeks of maceration. It then goes into new French oak barrels, where it undergoes malolactic fermentation, followed by 16 months of aging. Decanting is recommended to avoid sediment and serving between 16 and 18 ºC. It is an excellent choice to accompany smoked meats, stews and red meats.
