Duorum Vintage 2007 - Port Wine

Duorum Vintage 2007 - Port Wine is a Vintage Port of great character, produced in the Porto and Douro region, revealing the intensity and depth typical of the great Port wines of this origin. Made essentially from a field blend, with Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz, it elegantly expresses the richness of the Douro and the classic profile of a Vintage Port meant for aging.

Fermentation in stainless steel vats with robotic treading allows for a high extraction of components from the skins, contributing to their concentration, structure, and aromatic definition. This is combined with a rigorous selection of grape brandies, an important element for the balance and harmony of the whole.

In the glass, it presents a deep red color with dense violet reflections. The aroma is intense and elegant, marked by black fruits and balsamic notes of rockrose, resin, and cedar. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with great structure, balanced acidity, and firm, ripe, and well-integrated tannins. The finish is long, persistent, harmonious, and elegant, confirming its remarkable aging potential in the bottle.
