Vallado Vintage 2017 - Port Wine

The Vallado Vintage 2017, from Quinta do Vallado, is a Port wine with an intense and profound profile, marked by aromas of ripe black fruits and a very concentrated expression. On the palate, it reveals great body, soft tannins and excellent structure, combining power and elegance in a balanced way. The complexity of the whole extends into a very long, persistent and enveloping finish, typical of a Vintage with a strong capacity to impress from a young age.

Produced in the Porto and Douro region, this wine is made primarily from grapes from old vines. Fermentation took place over four days in lagares (traditional stone troughs), with periodic foot treading, a traditional method that contributes to the intensity, extraction, and character of the wine. After vinification, the Vallado Vintage 2017 aged for 21 months in stainless steel tanks, preserving its aromatic purity and fruit definition. It is an exuberant and attractive Port, ideal for those who appreciate wines of great presence, richness, and depth.
