Description | Contino Graciano - Red Wine
Contino Graciano - Red Wine is a single-varietal red wine made from the Graciano grape variety, originating from Rioja Alavesa. The grapes come from the San Gregorio Grande estate in Laguardia, a 3.7-hectare plot planted between 1979 and 1989, with diverse soils and a Mediterranean climate with Atlantic influence. This setting gives rise to an intense, vibrant, and aromatic wine that seeks to authentically express the grape variety and the unique character of the vineyard.
In the glass, it presents a cherry color with purple reflections. The aroma reveals great intensity, with an exotic profile where notes of black fruits, balsamic and spicy hints stand out. On the palate, it stands out for its elegance, supported by a powerful and full-bodied structure, resulting in a fleshy, harmonious and strongly characterized whole.
The aging process includes 16 months in barrels, followed by 6 months of aging in pure concrete tanks, contributing to its depth and balance. It is recommended to serve it at 16ºC. It is an excellent choice to accompany roast lamb, grilled red meats and roasts, combinations that enhance its intensity and structure.
