Calem Lagrima - Port Wine

Calem Lagrima - Port Wine is a generous wine from the Port and Douro region, produced by Cálem. It is a sweet and enveloping Port, made from a blend of Viosinho, Malvasia Fina, Verdelho and Códega grapes. The grapes are harvested manually at the right moment of ripeness, destemmed and gently crushed, followed by careful maceration with constant stirring during fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Fermentation continues until the desired sweetness level is reached, then it is stopped with the addition of grape brandy, resulting in the final fortified wine.

In the glass, it presents a golden color and an aromatic profile marked by dried fruits and elegant notes of honey. On the palate, it reveals an intense and appealing sweetness, supported by a velvety texture and a rich and harmonious whole. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a soft and indulgent impression.
