Val do Galir Godello Sobre Lias - White Wine

Val do Galir Godello Sobre Lias - White Wine, from Virgen del Galir, is a single-varietal white wine made from the Godello grape variety, originating from the Valdeorras region. Produced from the A Malosa vineyard in the town of Éntoma, this wine results from a selection of grapes from the Regueirón and O Serro plots, in slate soils. Vinification includes cold maceration before fermentation and aging on fine lees for 4 months in stainless steel tanks, a process that contributes to its texture and aromatic expression.

In the glass, it presents a bright yellow-green color. On the nose, it reveals a delicate, Atlantic and mineral profile, with floral notes, hints of low mountains, citrus and ripe white fruit. On the palate, it is vibrant, persistent and silky, with good structure and a broad, fresh profile true to the Valdeorras style.

It is a gastronomic and versatile wine, ideal for serving at 10ºC. It pairs very well with fish, shellfish, vegetables, white meats and stews. An interesting choice for those looking for a white wine with character, elegance and a marked mineral expression.
