Termanthia - Red Wine

Termanthia - Red Wine, from Numanthia, is an iconic wine from the Toro region, made exclusively from the Tinta de Toro grape variety. Produced with grapes from old vines over 120 years old, it represents the ultimate expression of this variety, combining history, authenticity and a limited production that reinforces its exclusive character.

In the glass, it presents a deep, dark red color with subtle purple nuances. The aromatic profile reveals great elegance and definition, with notes of red fruits and Madagascar vanilla, accompanied by floral hints, aromatic herbs, pepper, and licorice. On the palate, it shows a fine, silky, and pure entry, evolving with an unctuous texture, remarkable freshness, and a balance between power and elegance. Highlights of cherries, blueberries, and roasted cocoa beans stand out in a complex and persistent ensemble.

Fermentation takes place in French oak vats, and aging occurs in new French oak barrels for 22 months, split between a first barrel for the initial 6 months and a second new barrel for the following 16 months. It is recommended to serve it at around 16ºC. It is an excellent choice to accompany rich meats, game, mountain rice dishes, stews, and grilled meats.
