Taylors Chip Dry - Port Wine

Taylor's Chip Dry Port is a dry white Port wine from Taylor's, produced in the Port and Douro region. Recognized as a benchmark in the dry white style, it results from a selection of dry white Port wines, made from grapes grown in the Upper Douro. Among the traditionally used grape varieties, Malvasia Fina stands out, contributing to the wine's elegant and balanced profile.

The production follows the traditional Port wine method, with the addition of brandy to the must to stop fermentation and preserve some of the grape's natural sugar. In the glass, it presents a pale straw color. The aroma is delicate, with notes of fresh fruit, soft nuances and hints of oak, in a classic white Port style. On the palate, it reveals itself as fresh and lively, with good intensity of flavor and a dry, refreshing finish, characteristics that define its distinct style.
