Quinta do Crasto Vinha da Ponte - Red Wine

Quinta do Crasto Vinha da Ponte - Red Wine is a terroir wine from the Porto and Douro region, produced by Quinta do Crasto from old vines. It results from a unique blend of different grape varieties, seeking to authentically express the identity of the vineyard and the depth of this Douro origin. In the winery, the grapes are transported in 22 kg food-grade plastic crates, undergo a meticulous selection process, are destemmed and lightly crushed, then transferred to temperature-controlled fermentation tanks. After alcoholic fermentation, a gentle pressing takes place, preserving the elegance and purity of the wine's profile.

In the glass, it reveals a deep violet color and an intense aroma of red fruits, well enveloped by delicate notes of fresh spices. On the palate, it shows an intense entry, evolving with elegance, excellent volume and a silky texture. The tannins are well integrated, in harmony with the fruity component, leading to a balanced, fresh and remarkably persistent whole. A red wine of great character, which clearly reflects the personality of the Douro and the demanding approach of Quinta do Crasto.
