Quinta das Carvalhas LBV - Port Wine

Quinta das Carvalhas LBV - Port Wine is a Late Bottled Vintage from the Porto and Douro region, produced by Quinta das Carvalhas using traditional methods that help define the character of this style. Fermentation takes place in granite lagares (traditional stone vats), with foot treading, a process that favors intense extraction and contributes to the concentration and depth of the wine. Aging in oak vats for 4 to 6 years preserves the expression of the fruit, while adding complexity and balance to the whole.

On the nose, it presents a very harmonious profile, with notes of black cherry and rockrose, enveloped by hints of dark chocolate and subtle woody notes. On the palate, it reveals itself as full-bodied, fruity and structured, with good density and firmness, maintaining a rich texture and a well-composed whole. The finish is long and persistent, leaving an intense and elegant impression.
