Maruxa Godello - White Wine

Maruxa Godello - White Wine is a white wine from Virgen del Galir, produced in the Valdeorras region exclusively from the Godello grape variety. The grapes come from the winery's vineyards in Éntoma, specifically from the Regueirón, O Serro, and Valdemioto plots, with clay-loam soils containing slate and other minerals. Alcoholic fermentation is carried out at a controlled temperature to preserve the aromatic expression and varietal character of the grape.

In the glass, it presents a bright straw-yellow color. The aroma is intense and varietal, with notes of ripe white fruit, Monte Baixo (a type of low-altitude rock), and a well-marked mineral component. On the palate, it reveals itself as full and balanced, with a silky texture, an elegant and fresh profile, finishing in a persistent and very pleasant way. This is a Godello true to the tradition of Valdeorras, whose name pays homage to the mother of the winery's founder.

It is recommended to serve it at 10ºC. It is an excellent option to accompany fish, shellfish and creamy rice dishes.
