Description | Marqués de Griñón Emeritus Magnum - Red Wine
Marqués de Griñón Emeritus Magnum - Red Wine is a red wine from the Dominio de Valdepusa region, made from Syrah, Petit Verdot, and Graciano grapes. It ages for 10 months in new and semi-new French Allier oak barrels, revealing a profile that is simultaneously fruity, elegant, and marked by the characteristic minerality of this terroir with its limestone subsoil, recognized for its structure, drainage, and porosity – qualities especially valued in the production of great wines.
It presents a deep violet color with brilliant cherry reflections. On the nose, complex fruity notes stand out, with hints of wild blackberries and ripe cherries, enveloped by mineral nuances and hints of mint. On the palate, it is ample, silky and with intense personality, supported by a great structure and a fleshy texture that prolongs the tasting in a long and persistent finish.
This is a gastronomic wine, ideal to accompany Mediterranean dishes, pasta, risottos and poultry, both game and poultry. It is recommended to serve it at 16ºC to best appreciate its aromatic expression, the elegance of barrel aging and the balance between fruit, freshness and depth.
