Description | Marqués de Griñón Cabernet Sauvignon Magnum - Red Wine
Marqués de Griñón Cabernet Sauvignon Magnum - Red Wine is a red wine of great personality, produced by Marqués de Griñón in the Dominio de Valdepusa region, from the Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety. Originating from the oldest vineyard on the property, planted in the early 1970s, it stands out as a structured and powerful wine, with a strong identity and remarkable aging potential in the bottle.
It has a deep ruby-red color. The aroma reveals an intense and captivating profile, marked by red forest fruits, spices, cinnamon, tobacco, and chocolate. On the palate, it is ample and spicy, with notes of ripe fruit, excellent structure, and a balanced whole, benefiting from 12 to 15 months of aging in new French Allier oak barrels, which contributes to the ripeness of the fruit and the aromatic harmony.
With an aging potential of 10 to 12 years, it is an excellent choice for those who appreciate robust and elegant red wines. It is recommended to serve it at 16ºC. It pairs particularly well with red meats, lamb, and cheeses, enhancing intense dishes and deep flavors.
