Description | Malleolus Magnum - Red Wine
Malleolus Magnum - Red Wine, from Emilio Moro, is a red wine from Ribera del Duero that reveals one of the noblest expressions of the Tempranillo grape variety. The name "Malleolus" derives from Latin and refers to "majuelo," the traditional name for the vineyards of Pesquera de Duero, highlighting the strong connection of this wine to its origin and the identity of the winery.
Made from a selection of grapes from old vines between 25 and 75 years old, located at the Camino Viejo estate, at an altitude of 900 meters, it presents a profile of great character. Its color is a deep, concentrated cherry-red. On the nose, it is intense and ripe, with good intensity and a marked personality. On the palate, it is powerful and structured, balancing freshness and maturity, with the complexity conferred by aging in French oak barrels and a long, persistent finish.
This is a gastronomic red wine, ideal to accompany roast suckling pig, entrecôte, and game dishes. For best appreciation, it is recommended to serve it between 17 and 18 ºC. Internationally distinguished and featured on Wine Enthusiast's Top 100 Wines list, it establishes itself as a prestigious reference in the world of great Ribera del Duero wines.
