Description | Malabrigo - Red Wine
Malabrigo - Red Wine is one of the most emblematic wines of Cepa 21, produced in the prestigious Ribera del Duero region from 100% Tempranillo. With a limited production of approximately 5,000 bottles per year, it stands out as a high-profile red wine, capable of precisely revealing the character of its terroir of origin, marked by sandy-clay soils and the demanding climatic conditions of the region. The 18 months of aging in new French oak barrels contributes to its depth, balance, and complexity.
In the glass, it presents an intense, well-covered cherry color with ruby highlights. The aroma is intense and complex, based on ripe black fruit typical of the grape variety, accompanied by subtle notes of wood from its aging in barrels. On the palate, it is full-bodied and enveloping, with a firm yet elegant structure, very ripe tannins, and a silky texture. The finish is long and persistent, confirming the intensity and finesse that distinguish this wine.
It is recommended to serve it between 16 and 18 ºC. It pairs especially well with grilled meats, lamb, veal, red meat stews and big game dishes.
