Los Confines del Prieto Pariente - Red Wine

Los Confines del Prieto Pariente - Red Wine, from Bodegas José Pariente, is a single-varietal Garnacha red wine originating from two old vines in the Sierra de Gredos. Made from a combination of slate and granite soils, it expresses a complex and balanced profile, where the slate contributes minerality, volume, and texture, while the granite adds verticality and finesse. Eleven months of aging in French oak barrels reinforces the elegance and depth of the whole.

It presents a ruby-red color and an aromatic profile marked by ripe fruit, both red and black. Mineral notes, dried herbs, and undergrowth also stand out, composing an expressive and intense aroma. On the palate, it surprises with its freshness, sustained by good acidity and a dominant minerality, leading to a powerful and aromatic finish. It is a wine with presence, but also with balance, designed for those who appreciate red wines with a mineral character and elegant structure.

It is recommended to serve it at 16ºC. It pairs very well with poultry, roasts, meat-based rice dishes, and stews.
