Hito - Red Wine

Hito - Red Wine, from Cepa 21, is a red wine from Ribera del Duero made from Tempranillo. It originates from the winery's youngest vines, grafted with Tinto Fino clones from some of Bodegas Emilio Moro's most emblematic plots. The name "Hito" refers to the stone marker used to indicate directions on agricultural paths, a reference to the philosophy of this wine: to mark its own path in the interpretation of young wines.

Fermented for 30 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and aged for 8 months in French oak barrels, it presents an intense cherry-red color with violet reflections. The aroma is frank and very expressive, with primary notes of the Tempranillo grape variety, highlighting blackberry and redcurrant in their freshest form. On the palate, it is balanced, with a brisk passage and good acidity, showing freshness and good definition.

It is recommended to serve it at 16ºC. It is a versatile choice at the table, especially suitable to accompany roasts, lamb, white meats and sausages.
