Enate Syrah-Shiraz - Red Wine

Enate Syrah-Shiraz - Red Wine is a single-varietal red wine from the Somontano region, made exclusively from the Syrah grape variety. It results from the combination of two distinct clones: one of French origin, planted in the Cregenzán valley, and another of Australian origin, on the Alcanetos hill. The grapes are harvested manually, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks, malolactic fermentation, and aging for 15 months in new European and American oak barrels.

It has a deep and very intense cherry-red color. The aroma reveals red fruits, blue flowers, and olives, over a background of milky and vanilla notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with noble and velvety tannins, finishing very persistently. According to Enate, this Syrah-Shiraz authentically expresses the character of its terroir.

It is recommended to serve it between 16 and 18 ºC. It is an excellent choice to accompany game dishes, stews, roasts and smoked foods. The label is an original work by the artist Manuel Rivera.
