Covela Avesso - White Wine

Covela Avesso - White Wine is a single-varietal Avesso wine from Quinta de Covela, in the Vinho Verde region. Produced from the estate's emblematic grape variety, it reveals a fresh, elegant and very gastronomic profile, with a clear and precise expression of this variety. The harvest is done manually, plot by plot, to ensure picking at the ideal time, and the grapes are transported in small boxes, helping to preserve their integrity. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by a period of aging on fine lees, with occasional batonnage, until mid-February, before light filtration and bottling.

In the glass, it presents a bright straw color with delicate notes of lemon peel. The aroma is intense and expressive, marked by citrus fruits such as lime and lemon, floral hints of white flowers, and evident minerality. As it opens, nuances of tropical fruit emerge, adding complexity to the whole. On the palate, it is dry, with clear acidity, medium body, and a persistent finish.
