Charpentier Tradition Brut - Sparkling Wine

Charpentier Tradition Brut - Sparkling Wine is the flagship wine of J. Charpentier, a leading producer in the Marne Valley, Champagne. Made from grapes from their best crus, this sparkling wine highlights the identity of Pinot Meunier, a very representative grape variety of the house, complemented by a small proportion of Pinot Noir. The blend also includes reserve wines aged for two years after malolactic fermentation, contributing to its harmony and aromatic expression.

In the glass, it presents a very elegant light gold color, with fine and delicate bubbles. The aroma is dominated by fresh citrus notes, a slight toasty touch, and hints of candied fruit. On the palate, it reveals a round and supple attack, with fruity aromas reminiscent of raspberry, blackcurrant, and apple, finishing with a fresh and lively sensation. It should be served between 10 and 12 ºC and pairs well with fish dishes and charcuterie. It was awarded a Bronze Medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2016 and 1 star in the Hachette Guide 2018.
