Casa de Santar 8 Parcelas - Red Wine is a wine from the Dão and Lafões region that expresses the tradition and winemaking character of Casa de Santar. Produced from a careful selection of the best eight plots of the property, it results from the combination of six native grape varieties, in a blend designed to highlight balance, depth and elegance.

The winemaking process includes total destemming and a prolonged, gentle skin maceration, followed by 24 months of aging in French oak barrels. The wine then remains in the bottle for approximately 60 months before reaching the market, a period of evolution that contributes to its aromatic complexity and refinement on the palate.

In the glass, it presents an intense garnet color with slight brownish hues. The aroma is complex and elegant, with tertiary notes of spices and dried fruit. On the palate, it is smooth, well-structured and persistent, with silky tannins and a well-defined finish. It is an excellent choice to accompany aged cheeses, rich dishes and red meats.
