Barbeito Boal Reserva 500ml - Madeira Wine is a fortified wine from the Madeira region, made from the Boal grape variety. Produced by Barbeito, it reveals the classic profile of this grape, balancing sweetness and acidity in a very balanced way. According to available information, the grapes come from quality vineyards located in Arco da Calheta and Prazeres, and are pressed in a pneumatic press; fermentation is interrupted at the desired level of sweetness.

The wine is aged for over 5 years in French oak barrels, following the Canteiro method, a traditional process that contributes to the wine's complexity and elegance. In the glass, it presents a honey color and an aromatic profile marked by dried fruits, floral notes, honey, and yellow fruit compote. On the palate, it shows a medium and round body, with a slightly smoky, fresh, and spicy finish. It is an excellent option as a digestif and pairs very well with Christmas pudding, foie gras, chocolate, candied fruits, and cheeses.
