Áster Crianza Magnum - Red Wine

Áster Crianza Magnum - Red Wine is a red wine from Ribera del Duero produced by Áster from Tempranillo grapes, true to the intense and refined character of this prestigious region. In the glass, it reveals an intense garnet color, with cherry-pepper rims, a high body, and a very appealing shine. The aroma is dominated by balsamic, spicy, and woody notes, evolving into hints of black forest fruits, enveloped by notes of pepper, licorice, and clove.

On the palate, it is ample and structured, with balanced acidity and elegant, fine, and ripe tannins. The finish is fresh and persistent, with notes of wood, clove, and black pepper, confirming its profile of well-measured power and great balance. Produced with grapes from the Fuentecojo, La Cueva, and Otero Joven plots, it fermented and macerated for 18 days, underwent malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels with weekly bâtonnage for two months, and aged for 16 months in French oak barrels.

This wine is of great elegance, freshness, and gastronomic appeal, ideal to accompany crispy meats, roasts, spicy stews, and smoked, cured, and dry cheeses. It is recommended to serve it between 16 and 17 ºC.
