Alion - Red Wine

Alion - Red Wine is one of the benchmark names of Ribera del Duero, produced by the Alión winery exclusively from the Tempranillo grape variety. It presents a dark cherry color with a garnet rim and reveals, from the first moment, an expressive and elegant aromatic profile. On the nose, notes of ripe fruit and candied fruit stand out, accompanied by sweet spices, tobacco and hints of fine wood, in a harmonious and sophisticated ensemble.

On the palate it is fine and elegant, with a flavorful texture, ripe tannins and a very well-integrated spicy character. The finish is long, unctuous and persistent, confirming the complexity and personality that make this wine a remarkable red from Ribera del Duero. According to available information, it ages for 12 to 14 months almost entirely in Bordeaux-style French oak barrels, followed by a minimum of 15 months in the bottle, a stage in which fruit and wood gain balance and depth.

With great intensity and elegance, Alion - Red Wine is an excellent choice to accompany stews, braised dishes and red meats. It is recommended to serve it at 18ºC to fully appreciate its aromatic richness and its enveloping structure.
