2 Tancas - Red Wine

2 Tancas - Red Wine is a Menorca red wine produced by Binifadet from Merlot and Syrah grapes, selected from two very distinct plots: the older Merlot plot and the younger Syrah plot. It is part of the Tanca range, created with grapes from some of the best tanks on the property, whose geography gives the wine its own personality and distinctive characteristics.

In winemaking, it undergoes fermentation and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel, followed by 12 months of aging in French oak barrels and a further 12 months in the bottle. In the glass, it presents a bright, medium-intensity cherry color. The aroma is subtle, very balsamic and fresh, with notes of wild herbs, vanilla, dark chocolate and fruit in the background.

On the palate, it reveals itself to be pleasant, elegant and silky, with a balanced profile and an expression very characteristic of Menorca reds. It should be served between 14 and 16 ºC and pairs especially well with beef. A wine with an island identity and a very expressive example of Binifadet's work.
